Happy New Year!
We’re excited to gather again at the state Capitol for the third annual Moving Beyond Implications: Research into Policy Conference on Thursday, January 15, 2026—hosted by the Connecticut Scholars Strategy Network and UConn's Institute for Collaboration on Health, Intervention, and Policy. Beginning at 12pm, the event in the Legislative Office Building (LOB), will engage state leaders, policy professionals, advocates and academics in research that informs Connecticut's legislative agenda.
In particular, don't miss our partner, Equable Institute, presenting on the Children's and Education Panel in Room 2C of the LOB between 1:30-2:45. Equable Institute Executive Director Anthony Randazzo will be unpacking his research, "Who Benefits: Making Teacher Pension Financing More Fair in CT"—which explores an untapped area of policy impacting education resource equity and its implications for student performance in our state.
We look forward to seeing you there!
